Tyre Rotation
Rotate your tyres so wear is shared across all four.
Front and rear tyres wear at different rates. Rotating them between axle positions spreads that wear so the set lasts longer and performs more consistently.
The right rotation pattern depends on your vehicle and tyre type — directional tyres, staggered fitments and space-saver spares all change what can be moved where.
What it involves
- Wheels removed and moved to new positions
- Tyre pressures checked and set
- Tread and sidewalls looked over while the wheels are off
Signs you might need it
- Front tyres wearing noticeably faster than the rears (or the other way round)
- It’s time for a routine rotation — check your vehicle handbook for the suggested interval
Common questions
Many vehicle handbooks suggest a rotation at regular distance intervals. Check yours, or ask us what suits your vehicle and tyres.
